"The servers will be up on July 4th from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm and then will be closed again while we study what we learned. The following beta test will be 'soon' after."

He'll be in China in "a couple weeks for ChinaJoy". ChinaJoy is from 7/26 to 7/29.

Couple of weeks obviously can mean anything to these guys.

When they announced we will be releasing beta in couple of weeks today would be the end of the 2nd week. Today is the 14th day since they announced it.

Well. How do you put a numerical value on " A few " or " A couple " I don't think you necessarily can. I think it was just a way of them to tell us that is closer than " Soon ™ "

I like how they tell us to follow them on all these websites for more information but they don't give us any. Only a spam of beta invites on Twitter.

A couple usually refers to a numerical value of 2. Few is 3 or more.

I think of it as 2. Thats how I was raised on a couple as being 2.

I have a feeling it will be released tomorrow on the first day of summer. But then again they could release it today. But they are 3 hours behind me and its 3 o'clock where I am.

Maybe. ( Please?! Not maybe DO IT NAOW!!1!11 ) Since it has been two weeks since they made the announcement ,and it's just now 12 in Cali. July 4th is a bad day. Too many people doing stuff over that week.

I have been waiting since March so i'm getting a bit impatient. At least give us an exact date or some more information. No new developments for around 14 days.

Been waitin since December, and thats nothing compared to some vets. Thing is, I dont want them to put out a date and not be able to reach it :P I, and most of the community, would be so mad at them. I'd stay with the game, but I'd be mad. Plus, its bad rep.

If the website is getting updates, it defiantly means something. Beta could be closer, but hell. Its in the air right now.

( However, most games do update their websites when some major event comes around, and since PS2 beta is close, this could be a sign. )

Hopefully seeing that splash screen means its almost here. They really are pushing for people to get in beta. They probably have over 30,000 people registered already if not more.
