Funny how solsar has 2 votes. I feel like I fought on Solsar like 3 times in all the years I played Planetside. That's like... less than once per year.

Solsar was attacked almost daily on werner , along with other home continents. But it used to be short lived . Mercs et al used to recall back (props to Braveheart ) . Then the fight would end up back in purgatory ie Cyssor . Thats why I enjoyed the caves, just to get away from the place and get links to somewhere else.

Cyssor for me as well. Those bridge battles were probably my best gaming experience ever.. Apart from getting Epona on Zelda for the first time.

We had to defend Bravehearts Cottage from the evil TR scum. I was a standing order to defend Solsar at all costs.

You may be finding limited support for the desert style continents because we already have Indar.

I love solsar and Old oshur but i still voted for cyssor.

I voted for Searhus because of the volcano.

The good news is we may be getting it more sooner than later.

5:00 - As the player steps outside you see a drop-pod come down on the other side of some buildings but you see the conc wave come off it, and as soon as it land a Mosquito swoops in an strafes it, followed by a Scythe who's shooting the Mosquito down. Every time I watch these videos I get all giddy inside.


Cyssor was a close second. It was always my favorite continent to fight on.

Indar is going to be Oshur 1.0, so I'd like to see Oshur 2.0 in the game. But with the isles being isles instead of separate maps.


EDIT Oh, the poll is flawed. Indar =/= Ishundar. Indar == Oshur.

Searhus without a doubt, nothing like fighting on an active volcano.

Searhus also fits their theme of multiple biomes per continent already, you could go from fighting in temperate forests to a desert to a bloody volcano caldera with lava lakes and everything in the span of a campaign on one continent without going through any warpgate. No other continent in Planetside 1 had that, Searhus was by far the most diverse and fun to play continent in the game because of that.

I wanted to select all but since we are limited to 1 choice I picked Cyssor. I loved the look of the continet along with sheer size that it had. Some of my best PS memories came from that cont. Due to how Epic the battles where.

So if they remake any of the old ones then that one is my choice. Just make sure devs that if you do remake it then please allow us to siege that giant mountain in the middle of cyssor. Put some bases on that bad boy. I bet that would be fun as hell.
