Once, 3 NC guards were standing at a distant outpost. They heard nothing but the whisper of the wind, and the thunder of far away battles. Then they got their asses blown off…

Drake flight is an Air Assault outfit that has an easygoing attitude outside of the game, and a passionate one when playing. We're all about big galaxy drops and punishing air strikes. Our general style is to find and exploit the enemy's weak points, rather than slogging through protracted battles.

The specific roles we have at the moment are:

Paratrooper / Airborne Soldier
We're interested in all classes, and as you're being dropped in, we're specialising in quick-paced, tight-focused squad operations. You'll be able to call in plenty of air support, and as you're dropped in full galaxies, there'll be plenty of squadmates to back you up in your assault.

Mosquito Pilot
Both as air superiority pilots for dogfighting, and in a more helicopter gunship or strafing run style role of close air support. You'll get to experience flying with a whole flight of other pilots, and have people to guard your back while decimating the enemy. Our galaxies and liberators will also makes sure any pesky ground-based AA is dealt with, and will give you something to really fight for.

Galaxy Pilot
Gotta love those gals. The heart of the operation, you'll have plenty of escort cover, and quick load-up times.

Liberator Pilot or Gunner
For breaking those extra tough defences, or just trolling armoured columns, you'll also benefit from our mosquito's reconnaissance and air cover, as well as being provided with lots of juicy targets by the ground troops.

We're looking for anyone who feels like the best way to enjoy a game is to thrash the enemy and crack a few jokes while you're at it. We accept people of all backgrounds, as long as you play to win when we fight together.

The next one due is a re-make of the one in this post, but at night, with muzzle flare and dragon's-breath flames. I think some custom artwork for the website, such as buttons and backgrounds, will be the big project after that.

Hopefully we can get some more video editing practice in before beta so that we'll be able to put out some great stuff when that comes around, although the forgelight engine does most of the work on that front

We are Currently Looking for more Members and are happy to recruit people that do not have PS2 Experience. The gameplay will be very different and Veterens will be starting from scratch themselves.

We are Mainly looking for people who are up for a good laugh while shooting some barney's

I'm a veteran PS1 pilot looking for a new outfit for PS2 and yours has an amazing theme going, I love the whole Drake concept. But I'm North America based so the lag would kill me. Oh well, wish you luck fellow TR.
