Hey everyone with the amazing increase in interest in Planetside I have decided to start making a tutorial series on the basics of Planetside to hopefully sway more people into joining up. Now I know most of you will already know all that I have to cover but these videos will be more to help show what Planetside has to offer to the uninitiated so feel free to share this with your friends (even though they should all be playing right now!) or just someone you know who might be on the fence about playing Planetside.
There will be more videos going into greater detail so please bare with me because my scheduling can be hectic but hopefully I will have them up soon enough. Also yes my mic sucks and I just started really getting into recording so please tell me how it is I can use all the help I can get I'm sure haha |

On your first video. You should tell them about XP gain by holding each of the weapons and entering vehicles (even the gun spots). Each one of them gives a little bit of XP when you use it for the first time. This gives you the max XP (BR) to use at the cert terminal before you get out to the battle field. Of course, as you stated in the video already, all weapons/vehicles can be used in the VR training area....
Good series you got started here!  I had a lesson on some of this stuff, and other stuff, for about 30 minutes with a guy asking me random questions while waiting for a base to finish hacking.... We talked in general chat so everyone saw it.... I can tell em to check this out first now... Disregard if you already said this in 2nd video. I'm watching it now. I had questions asked to me about the lattice system, LLU, and explained some basics during that about how to check the base resources, what they are, NTUs-ANTs, etc...
If you want to get detailed, you could show some good inventory load-outs related to the different certifications. And mention situational awareness on the battle field and how that relates to the load-outs you create and vehicles certs you have. Caves and modules could be a whole video probably....

Haha funny thing is I already have some notes written up for my base video I intend on doing soon enough and it has all the stuff you mention in it haha.
Hmm I never thought of talking about the inventory I will definitely have to take that into consideration though. Yeah the whole Core Combat content is going to be is planned to be its own big video. |
