We can't really do that until we get our hands on the beta. [Maybe this is a sign that it's almost here.]

Sure you can there is plenty of info out there not on the wiki yet, it can be updated when it becomes 100% accurate.

Yep, there is plenty you can add now. There are hours of gameplay footage and UI info to go through. Plenty of missing gems in there.

Please remember that the wiki is for PS2 content. Do not make dedicated pages for purely PS1 content.

What it needs is better navigation (and more content would be nice too). Right now it's difficult to get where you'd like to go without searching.

Yeah, the front page will be redone at some point. But if you have suggestions on better navigation, make a thread in the wiki forum with your thoughts.

I agree on the navigation issues, and it's on our to-do-list. In regards to needing more content, that's where this contest and the community comes in. Everyone can add and edit content, so the more people jump in and contribute, the more content the Wiki will get.

I contemplated adding the lore from planetside2.com to the wiki at one point, including a PS2 lore category, (and possibly making sure there were pages about major characters from the lore) but ended up concluding that it would be a violation of copyright law even to copy them to the wiki for ease of access (it is a pain in the ass to find them all on the main site, as they're posted as news posts in among all the other news posts) or in case they ever disappeared from the main site.

I didn't feel comfortable making articles which used the lore posts as citations, either, as they were posted as news posts and I was concerned they might simply vanish at some point in the future.

That said, I think it would have been an improvement on how you have to find them now if you want to read them or look anything up in any of them.

If I had been editing the wiki, I would have stopped to avoid accidentally winning a T-shirt that I do not want. :V

I'm pretty sure there is someone working on a Lore section already, although he is doing so off-Wiki, ie. on his own computer until he finishes it.

If you were editing the Wiki, and you were chosen as a winner, it would've been as simple as saying "No thanks, give the T-shirt to someone else".

Some lore has been added from PS2.com, http://wiki.planetside-universe.com/ps/Category:Lore.

Definitely needs some work, for instance Tom Connery is a huge wall of text.
