Trash Talk?

Can some1 give an aspiring new player a run down on the trash talk?
I have seen "barney scum!" getting shot my way (all in good fun) but ummm I is confused... Am I ship dwelling arthropod? what do I say to this? what do the other Empires cannon fodder get called... I can normally dish it out when I KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON!!
I don't understand...

What people usually call...

TR = Elmos, Fascists, Tyrants, All-around- Jerks.
NC = Smurfs, Hicks, Hill-billies.
VS = Barneys, Smartypants, Better than Me, Fishheads.

It helps to read up on the lore on the planetside 2 site, that way you can really get your hackles up about everyone who doesn't think the same way you do. The basic stereotypes have already been mentioned. Just be creative and let the hate flow.

Why does everyone always pull out a load of words tht are never used in these things?

We've only ever really had 4 words

NC = Smurfs
TR = Elmos
VS = Barneys or fishheads

This is the first time I've heard them called "fishheads".

fishheads was used, just rarely as Barnies was the prefered term that or "lol the VS are attacking, send half the boys home"

I always used fish or fishhead before I joined the best faction. Just seemed more imaginative than barney.
I also think smurf and elmo are kinda weak, but alas no alternatives took off there
