Gifting items purchased with SC

Am I able to purchase a camo or some other item through the Sony store once PS2 is released and gift it to another player?

Well, I know in WoW you can purchase mounts and such from their store and then gift them to other people.

I could certainly see myself using this option.

I also wouldn't mind the addition of some suggestive "prank gifts" in there as well...for example a rubber chicken, a pacifier and a walking frame.

In fact, I can already think of a number of friends that these gifts would be perfect for.

It's not my idea. Other games I have played that have a cash shop allow gifting. It makes sense in my eyes and I hope PS2 uses a gifting system.

Nothing silly...
I don't understand how someone could even send you a silly gift. If they sent you pink camo, you could just not use it. Joke would be on hem considering they spent real cash to send something like that to you
