Here's what I threw together, I did it in photshop 6. I wish I had done it in vector, but the point of this one is to use planetside font and I didn't have that in vector form.

I really liked that second one that Decade did.

This is 1024x768 you can resize as needed.

Hell you have to remember they need the logo to be able to put on t-shirts , mouse pads , mugs and one of the important ones is to use the logo to watermark there pictures. This usually details a simplistic logo that is unobtrusive but reconisable. Putting a banner togather w/ the logo is cake, and lets not forget printing ( t-shirts ,ect..) after doing contracts for shirts /sweats and other stuff , an overly complex logo is a nightmare to print , not to mention expensive.

honestly eye candy is nothing with a logo. look at IBM. its the letters IBM scan-lined. what is there to it? nothing really, but its a LOGO. look at ford motor company, its a plus sign!(sorta) but its a masterpeice from a logo standpoint. keep these things in mind people!

btw very nice work decade. from my standpoint in this, yours are by far the best all around. but i don't know if others will see it from my point of view

I'd just like to point out that those two dragons from PR24's submission are a blatant rip from the wallpaper of a StyleXP theme, and are not his creations.

I noticed this as well, but like any other serious artist he will have to learn what happens when you steal all or part of someones intelectual property. This is why I tried to tell Hamma to have people submit logos, privatly and when the deadline pass's then post them up an a page for all to see and vote. Tribalwar had problems with this as well. <shrug>Sigh </shrug> .

The big question is , will Hamma remove the persons artwork from the board ?? I personaly drew ALOT of sketches and alot of time on photoshop getting my logo the way I had invisioned.
