Personality type per empire experiment

Id like to propose a psychological experiment to find out what personality types are drawn to which empires, and if theres a direct correlation to these personality types based on certain aspects of each empire.

Im not sure if anybody would be interested in doing this but I think it might actually be kindve interesting if people will participate. It will only take a few minutes to do.. I realize alot of people wont participate in this experiment and thats fine too but if we can get enough people it may tell us about what the draw is of certain empires and also people can learn what personality type they are which is always interesting. I know this is just a game, but lets face it, were all bored or we wouldnt be on a forum talking about a game that hasnt released yet lol. So i figured why not? Since ive been kindve wondering about this since i found out about this game. Im not a psyche student or anything, just have an interest in this kindve stuff and thought it might make for some interesting conversation if nothing else. Also if any psychologists/psychiatrists/ psyche students etc are lurking on the forums and wanna give input on the experiment then feel free to hop in.

The way this experiment will work is as follows.

Step 1: take the test here which will give you your personality typehttp://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp

Step 2: List your personality type and a brief description of it the test gives info on this you can copy and paste (IE: mine is INFJ)

Step 3: List what empire you chose and specifically why you chose it. (IE: Lore, the colors, your friends were there, Weapons and vehicles, etc)

Once this thread has ran for about a week or so ill try to add up all the data and give percentages of everything as the "final" result

Like i say this is just something to kill some time and might be kindve interesting to find out, as long as the mods of the forum dont start thinking im working for some game marketing company doing research or something and close it down

My empire and reason i chose it: I chose VS because i was drawn to the energy weapons and futuristic themed vehicles.

I don't think you'll find a credible sample out of the several people who actually bother to do this.

Yeah i know, like i say its mostly out of boredom lol .Just something to pass the time i figured and if anybody does participate might be interesting to find out the results.

Because it had the best outfits at the time, and after the server merger, my friends split different ways, and I made new ones.
TR's ROF and Color themes have always drawn my attention, but it's the teamplay and outfit that kept me. I play all 3 factions, but BRTD keeps me grounded with the TR.

Good idea here, too bad the sample size will be low, still I'll contribute:

My empire: Vanu. I chose them because I like energy weapons, I like the scythe, and the designs seem sleeker to me than the blocky NC or the bulky TR.

I chose TR because I like their professional look and I, when I first started thinking about factions, thought that the NC would have a larger amount of younger players and the VS are just strange lobsters

INTJ - TR

I chose the TR because-
A. The Mosquito is my favorite aircraft, the second being the Galaxy
B. I support their ideals
C. I'm not fond of the other empires, both due to their gameplay and their ideals.
D. There's probably some sort of subconscious thing about TB being TR, because that's where I heard about Planetside, but I'm trying not to let that bias me. Maybe it did though, iunno.

I chose VS for a few reasons, one being the scientific background over the TR and NC lore. I dont like the Tr and NC for reasons i can easily state, cant think of a reason to not like the VS.

Also chose it cause people on the forums say it's less manly,gay...and the people that are going to play it dont judge it like that, they just /disco and have a party while letting the haters spend their time...hating. For some reason I want to play with the group negatively judged for the dumbest reasons.

Also their armor, weapons, and vehicles look cool to me in ps2. I wouldn't have played them in ps1 though cause of cosmetics, so have to include LOOKS in in my reason of choice also. Plus VS has all the hot chicks... bad ass underdog ftw?
