I don't know if you are all aware of this but on the SOE forums, it is clear that certain members of the community are able to post in a private forum that you can't see. If you look through the list and see who has posts and then try to search the posts you can see some people are able to post in the Planetside 2 forums while the rest of us can not even see them.

All I can say SOE is I would rather you just say hey we are letting people in now and simply know I was not chosen. This would be much preferred to seeing that you have select people clearly on a private forum while we all sit here with no real news.

I think those are the First Platoon people. I believe SOE said that they aren't actually playing the game, just discussing things concerning the game with the SOE dev. team.

though I do hope that when people get into closed beta, the posts from that forum will be available to see, and then when open beta comes, EVERYONE can see what was posted there.

none of thos posters are playing the game afaik (expect for the devs, ofcrouse). It's a thing called first platoon. Look it up.

Erm what. The tests are internal, using a pool of over 500 people SOE employees, testers and friends. So what if they have a forum?

Except that its probably for the technical tests (external, already was stated), and others who are part of testing.

And even if not, quit being a fucking baby, testing is for THEM, not for YOU. It's not just 'yay, I get to play the game early' happy fun time. Quit the drama. If they want to test with a few people and not tell the whiny masses so they can make a better experience when the game is released or gets to CBT, so be it. Fortunately, I have a life outide planetside, and the world keeps spinning.

Private conversations are not beta. Beta remains internal. And even when it's not internal we won't know except for leaks, but nevertheless, what you are talking about is First Platoon, has been going on for over a month, and they are not in Beta.

SOE is not deceiving you and SOE does not owe you anything. You will get in beta when you get in, not before and not after. At this time FP is not playing the game.. nobody outside SOE is just yet.

I would consider someone who doesn't even know what the truth actually is to claim someone is a lier.

I'm tired of people creating threads of this nature acting like they are entitled to beta and SOE should serve it up to you on a silver platter and be 100% transparent with you about everything.
