Fact: Ninjas are Awesome

Hey, I'm new to Planetside. Never played the original but I play a lot of other FPS, MMO, etc. type games.

I also pretty much love anything Sci-Fi. I read (and re-read) a lot of Heinlein, Asimov, Clarke and so on.

I'm an old school gamer too. My first video game system was an Atari and not because it was "retro", lol.

I was a huge BF2142 player/fan but you don't need two hands to count the number of active servers in 2142 nowadays. I also own almost every single Valve game.

I'm leaning towards Terran Republic right now although, I'm a little worried about player balance and being the only guy in the TR in my region.

I play Engineer a lot in the Battlefield series and similar games. I'll probably gravitate towards Engineer, Tank, Anti-Air and Transport.

I don't mind doing a little reading, I prefer it actually so if anyone has any good links for PS/2 relevant primers feel free to lay em on me.

I replied to the thread you made. Like i said in the thread, not all planning on playing know about/have used that facebook app. Also, political/gov't borders mean nothing in-game. Some from across either pond plan on playing on NA servers. Some from all across USA plan on playing together.
That facebook app is just something fun to know, but means absolutely nothing in-game.
