I hope that there are intelligent commanders out there that use the objective system generously to call in effective bombing runs, transport pick ups, tank support ect.

There's xp and/or resource gain incentives to accept the mission "quests" so it's even got quest rewards. They're quests no matter what you call them.

After watching today's AGN stream, i though of something that's bugging me a little: when beta starts and people are unable to discuss what they see in it, what will happen to AGN? I hope SOE releases more open gameplay footage every now and then so we can see some discussions on the things we see in them.

Hi Everybody,

This week my video card burned out and I was forced to upgrade it. I'm having trouble finding where I can adjust my chipset registration on the SOE website. I understand that they may only ask one time to prevent people from changing their chipset in hopes of getting a better spot in the tech/beta testing process. I am worried that if I get into the beta SOE will have me registered as using my prior video card and maybe won't get good data from me. Please don't tell me I have to register a new account. Thanks everybody.

Hi all,

My brother is a PS1 veteran, and as such should receive priority beta invites. One thing confuses us though, which is that his "Game Pass Info" shows as "Planetside 2 Account: Inactive." It's confusing since I've seen screenshots of others who entered a beta key as "Planetside 2 Account: Active."

Is this normal for the rest of you vets, or is his account not properly registered for the beta?

well all i can say is i got a key(since i lost my vet account,email and everything).

and with that key i activated my new account and is says Planetside 2 : Active.

dunno about vets...

I wouldn't worry too much, it was just a tool to filter for technical test.

Not sure, but i believe if you go to the main Planetside 2 page and click sign up it will ask you to log in and then ask you to take the survey again. If you have it set to log you in automatically you may need to log out first. Either way, there probably isn't much of a point to changing it if you already have a beta key.

All PS1 vets who have not received a key have their accounts showing as inactive for PS2

go to http://www.planetside2.com log in via the "station account" link under the 'redeem' button on the beta sign up, after you're logged in go to www.planetside2.com/download hit download now, you will get the "you are already signed up for Beta" message but you will get the option of filling out the Questionnaire... click the Questionnaire link to be directed to input your system specs...

Edited; I tried my other more direct way with house mates account and it didn't work...
