Not particularly exciting... but we'll have to see what they can do with it.
Maybe they'll have micro-continents that just feature a single, outfit-owned base with a warpgate nearby. Still, I don't see how they'll make it work. Can another outfit take over my outfit's base? Could my outfit just build another one instantly? We'll see, but it seems a lot less fun than full-scale war on the real continents. |

Smed needs to start keeping his mouth shut. Every time he opens it he spawns a shitstorm of speculation and increases the pressure on the dev team severalfold. Better pleasant surprises than broken (or delayed) promises.

I would love it if they gave us an empty continent, then let us slowly build up structures on it that can never be destroyed but rather only modified slightly. Slowly but surely over the years it would become a massive city continent.

All your bases are belong to us
This could either be really good (like the player owned stations in EVE) or just another gimmick where the players don't really have any control (like the implementation of player operated real estate in most other rpg's). |
