That didn't get fucked up. Not really, at least. And besdies, it's the devs that have the power to fuck stuff up. The guys making PS2 didn't make all of SOE's other games, too.

Yeah I think we really should come to a consensus later on whether to
1) let the fights on this specific continent affect the stat, killcount, and ranking or 2) let the constructs on this specific continent have destructible nature in it or 3) let this specific continent to have special rule-set and flow like robocpf1 suggested..etc or not. |

im not saying SoE will mess up Planetside 2 but it does have a reputation for messing up good games

But more than likely there will be several preset base configurations with optional modules you can unlock. Though, I'd love to see an SWG style free dropping of buildings. |

Is it just me who thinks that it will work similar to the ANT system but instead of having to recharge your bases all the time you can use the resource to build modules on the site as well? So you can work to strengthen your position not just by killing enemies but also by building new stuff in your existing territories. Why are you all thinking about stuff that have nothing to do with the gameworld? Bases wont cost money, that would break the game, bases will be built with ingame resources and what ingame resource have to do with bases? NTU! Think of it as having all the engineer tools you can imagine instead of just building small spitfire and such, but that extra power means that it will take longer than just a click with a button to pull off.
