Looking to buy 2560x1440 monitor

K so i want to buy 2560 × 1440 ips monitor will my rig be good enough?

CPU: 2500K (i will overclock it)
MB: Z77A-GD65
RAM: 4GB (i will buy more for sure its cheap)
GPU: Crossfire msi 7850 2GB twinfrozer (currently one bud another is on the way i hope iu will be able to get stable 1200 mhz overclcok from second one so i can run them oced in crossfire)
PSU: corsair 850W

problem is that im not sure that i can get stable 100 plus HZ in that resolution i have made a mistake when i bought first card because i didnt know back then that there is option for 120hz IPS i thought i will buy same 120hz 1920x1080 TN monitor, another problem is that i have sandy bridge which means that i can only utilise 2 x 8 pcie 2 and not pcie 3 so i will have limited brandwich for such resolution

SO what do u guys think?

Ps: sry for engrish

If you are looking to run that resolution with those cards at that refresh rate you will be turning down the details. I can tell you that much.

I highly doubt your cards will get bottlenecked using your current setup either due to PCI-e lanes.

Well if pcie 2 is not problem i was hoping for more. You can get around 70-100 fps with 7850 crossfire http://www.kitguru.net/components/gr...ire-review/15/ (not overclocked) in 1920x1080 in Battlefield 3 with everyting on max 4msa and so on.
And BTF 3 GFX is much more advanced then P 2 i suppose

PS: I know that BTF have 64 players and PS thousands but BTF have quite impresive physics and overal effects which are (for good reason) missing in P 2

That bench isn't max as most settings are set to high. They were likely using single player and the 64 man servers are far more demanding on hardware. Keep in mind you have nearly twice as many pixels on the resolution you want verse 1920x1080, so that will be taxing hardware a lot more. There really isn't any good reviews of 7850 crossfire around unfortunately to see proper numbers. Just keep the AA off or down and you will have higher performance.
