Ok I have a question that needs an answer. I'm sure there is a logical reason for this and probally someone in the military can resolve this for me but...



Why the fuck are our troops(USA) in iraq wearing jungle camo?

some are wearing jungle camo.... but most of them are in desert camo..... i'm not sure why anyone had jungle camo on..... they only thing i can think is that they may switch to jungle camo when the assualt on bagdad happens.... who knows

A lot of the Para troopers wear jungle cammo because they are going into the cities at night and that provides the most cover. Desert cammo would show in the city even at night.

some of the ones in jungle camo are jumping into the semi forests around the north of bagdad *iraq is not 100% desert you know, they have forest areas, etc, just like in egypt, if you look at the other side of the permiads, you will see a very very lush vally right behind them *

oll have to agree with MrVulcan here.. ANd if you have ever studied mesopotamia, you would know Iraq IS mesopotamia. So in between the Tigris and Euphrates are forest, just like around the Nile in Egypt.

I only remember 1 with jungle camo, and that was one of the paratroopers, but he landed in a GRASS field, with a few trees around

Sometimes soldiers don't get their DBDU's until after they arrive. It's not uncommon.

Yeah, the only jungle camo I have seen is paratroopers.
