You will be fine just upgrading to 512. Anything over that is overkill imo.

I doubt that graphics card will be able to handle a lot on screen at once, especially at a high resolution (greater than 1024x768), but I don't know because I haven't played the game.

More than 512 is overkill, and you know it!

IMO, you need to upgrade everything in order to run it in high resolution especially for this game. But as was pointed out, you can never have too much RAM, and EVERYONE should have a minimum of 512 MB. Upgrade that and move to a TI-4600 or better and you should be golden.

I just ordered myself another 512 of RDRam for my system.

Whats considered 'high' resolution?

I play everything at 1024x768 (if possible) and its fine. I tried a couple games at 1280x1024 and found text too much of a hassle more than anything.
