Recently when I join any server I either lose connection instantly ( players running threw walls at spawn etc ) or can play for a couple of minutes then the same thing happens or sometimes I get a server disconnected message. I used to be able to play no bother, but now I keep getting disco'd. This is very frustrating as I have purchased the alpha package. I have been searching for this problem online and can't find anything....even information for port forwarding. My firewall is disabled and have entered all of the ports for the original planetside and sony online....still no joy!!!
I used to be able to play fine, but over the passed couple of weeks I have been getting disco'd! Can anyone help me out please? Firewall is off....cant find any port forwarding information for planetside 2 anywhere. please help, gradually getting more and more fed up with this. |

I resolved the issue myself! AVG users - Simple disabling resident shield as is described on an official post....avg has to be completely removed for the game to work. I have now had 0 disconnects and all has been fine since doing this!
Also did this on a friends machine, and same thing...works perfectly if you remove avg. |

100% agree! This is one of my pet peeves... someone has an issue, asks, fixes it themself, and never... discloses... the... resolution... Well done kpotis.
