About Forlorn Hope: We are a Planetside 2 centric outfit, formed in beta, made up of Planetside 1 vets from various outfits as well as players from different gaming backgrounds that are new to the Planetside universe. We are very friendly to new players and have plenty of experienced members to help and answer questions.

Our goal first and foremost is to have fun. This is a game after all. Fortunately, we have fun turning the map red. Members of a Forlorn Hope squad are expected to coordinate objectives, communicate efficiently, and stick together.

Even though we are a results driven group, we keep the mood light. When members aren't calling out priority targets, they are socializing and building friendships with the other outfit members.

We are a combined arms outfit that specialize in mechanized ground forces and troop transport. We utilize prowlers, sunderers, and lightnings into our convoys typically, but we also have skilled air pilots that recon and support our ground assets.

In addition to mechanized combat, every Forlorn Hope member is a viable infantry man/woman. Whatever role you choose, you are expected to play it well. Long gone are the days of begging for ammo or heals from random players, FH medics and engies are on top of it.

Currently, we have no age restriction, although all members are expected to be mature and respectful to others. There isn't a restriction on profanity just as long as members refrain from using racial slurs or hate speech. We have created an environment of camaraderie and respect in our ranks and will maintain this post launch.

Many members of Forlorn Hope have outside work, school, and family responsibility and we are accommodating to that. Most operations and activities occur on weekday evenings and weekends to fit the schedules of a majority of members.

We currently do not require a mic although most members do have one. If you are in a FH squad you are expected to pay attention to whats being said and respond with chat if needed.

Forlorn Hope also tries to give back to its members. Members of FH on launch week will enjoy perks such as squad xp boosters and one lucky member will even win 1200 SC from our launch giveaway.

Under normal circumstances, we handle recruitment by inviting a player to an outfit squad and play with them to determine if everything is a good fit. Since the game hasn't launched yet, we ask that you go to our new website at
