Cert prices..

Does anyone else think the increase to how many certs you need for everything is a little nuts?

I don't plan on playing over 3 hours a day normally and in an interview I saw long ago one of the devs mentioned maxing a vehicle/class would about 2 weeks. Now I'm thinking he meant 336~ hours not 2 weeks of decent play.

Some things they clearly intend for you to buy like the 700SC 1000 cert weapons. But the option to use certs is there which is good.

Otherwise it just seems kind of random in terms of how things are priced. I was so pissed off when I bought the Ammo Belt for my Infiltrator for 150 certs for the first level, only to find I only got 5 exta rounds (was 10 for the bolt actions in the last beta build). But by comparison the first level of Hacking is just 1 cert. That's just an example but there's way more stuff that just has me puzzled.

I played between 1-2 hours yesterday and made like 100+ The thing that bothers me is how long it would take to max 1 tree with 2-3 hours a day.

What i don;t understand is why they let go of the pricing scale. 1000 certs for A2G rockets for fighters is steep, but something i would grind for. The same 1000 for G2A and G2G rocket launchers for the heavy assault is out of proportion tho. Although people still seem to buy them (got some shot at my reaver, damn uuuuu!! )

7-8 hours i was actually really surprised how quick the cert gain is now. most the cert gain was offensive caps and defensive caps.

Yeah the 100cert cost for everything is a lil extreme.

All I know is in the beta after some of the changes I thought it was awesome.
A "casual" and I use that lightly, cause I'm talking 2-3 hours a day could do progress decently.. and then near the end of beta... not looking good.. and then release... 500/1000 certs for the last upgrade and the starting certs for everything is a bunch more too.

I was thinking of subbing/alpha-sqaud but the changes to the certs made me reconsider alpha, and the changes at release are making me reconsider subbing.

Can't really say that I think the cert prices for attachments are too high since they also increased the cert gain. Overall you should be getting attachments 30% faster than before.
Can't comment on weapon prices since I've just bought the ones that I wanted
