Firstly this hopefully won't mean much to those playing in outfits.
I hate those who play this game with a fiery passion. I really, really do. I hate players for being lemmings. I hate players for looking over my shoulder when I'm covering one of the entrances. I hate players for being the seagulls in "Finding Nemo". I hate players for looking like panicking ants on the mini-map. I hate players for thinking that sharp U turns is a good idea when flying in a group. I hate players for never having gotten the orienteering merit badge. I hate players for not knowing when to call it quits. I hate players for thinking that dying to a grenade is a group activity, and we're all invited. I hate players for having the situational awareness of a moss covered stone. I hate players for making me so frustrated at times that I start team killing. I hate players for making me so mad that I cannot think of any more reasons as to why I hate players. Do you also hate players?

One thing I've noticed in my short time playing so far, is that team-mates have a lot of trouble understanding the fact that their other team-mates are also in the same battle.
I say this here in the hope that a few might read it and take heed. If a team-mate is aiming in the general direction of the enemy there is a good chance that they're going to want to pull the trigger. I realise that you need to move and that some players feel that the only place to shoot from is the spawn-room doorway making an incident-free getaway difficult, but please try to avoid strafing in front of those in combat. I've only hit a few team-mates, and I've only killed two that I can remember. However, in these situations I was at the front line with an enemy in my sights. I'm pretty quick to let go of the trigger as soon as I spot that a member of my team's head has filled my view but when there's ample movement opportunity why do people feel the need to strafe in front of me when I'm shooting?!? I try to be aware of who is around me in order to reduce friendly fire incidents, be it with regards to my movements or those of my team-mates. Perhaps one or two after reading this may do the same. |

I was going to quote the moss covered stone line but the fm with the large text did it so I'm sending you both cookies!
I hate it when after a clusterfuck of a nade attack or general noobyness my revive gun finds the one dick who isn't sure if they want back up. Please, for the love of god, if you're dead and don't want revivng spawn somewhere, just get away from the corpse mound!!! |

Sadly that is how it is in every game with multiplayer. From MMOs to FPS and simulators...
Typical situation: 5 people are shooting at the enemy, our ally infiltrator (1337, imba no scoper) cloaks and decides to walk into the firing line on front of everyone, gets hit by ally, somehow survives the firefight by bunny hoping out of trouble (freaking miracle) and starts shooting our own guys and complaining about noobs team damaging... |

Oh I wouldn't take this thread too seriously, Mox
Aye I do actually think it's just about players adapting to an MMOFPS with more focus on teamwork than said players are normally used to. Given time I am sure that those playing will become more team oriented. The list is just some of the things that make me go... Aye, Tamas. The list applies to games like Battlefield 3 as well. People have been playing games with no friendly fire, and limited team work, for too long. I think they've become somewhat hardcoded to respond to damage, be it friendly or enemy, by shooting at the source. Heh, I've been killed more than once by a friendly while killing the enemies behind him. Also some players think that the best way to get me to heal them first is to shoot me in the head.

Petuna here will oblige you I don't hate other players cos if there not wearing my outfits tag then I just consider them to be part of "cause distraction" and would never rely on them for much

I'm extremely curious to know when the mental trigger will happen and people realize that:
- an AMS has better canons than rifles (which can still be used when it is deployed) - you can switch classes as much as you desire when you're close to the AMS As it stands, people do not bother adapting to situations about to happen, even 30 seconds away (or do not know it's beneficial). If there is one-thing they know, it is to mass-zerg HA and drone away at everything coming their way. ^^ |
