Destructibility I can agree with, but I don't know how you'd able to hack it and there is already a flight ceiling in the game...

Yeah, for my idea of a land bound equivalent, the T.F.O.C., could be outrun by a sprinting Infantryman.
This can arguably go a little faster, but this ship's biggest weakness is going to be maneuverability.
It is, after all,
a flying aircraft carrier, so it stands to reason she'd be as easy to turn as a huge boat.

Eh, honestly, if this is going to be a part of the seamless intercontinental warfare aspect of the game, then I think this ship's best counter strategy is going to be having a few of it's ilk of your own on standby.
Then again, I see these used more as mobile Forward Operation Bases then outright Assault Platforms, being well armored enough to operate just behind your front line where it's secure, but only it's seafaring brethren would be capable of charging headlong into enemy defenses in order to secure a beachhead.
So we'd have:
Huge, tank spawning land-battleships bristling with anti-vehicle guns to secure the battle-space around them but would crawl at a snails pace, physically limited where they can drive due to their sheer size, and be easily infiltrated and destroyed by a small group of Infantry.
Flying Aircraft Carriers used as mobile air superiority bases and airborne infantry drop points with an exposed propulsion system leaving it vulnerable to ground and air vehicle fire.
Heavily armored
Amphibious Assault Ships that can spawn/carry all types of vehicles
and can break through harden defenses, but as a boat it can only create a beachhead at a few select points on a continent's shore.

Yeah!
When Dungeons and Dragons Online put in Airships for Guilds, I was actually kind of expecting something like this, where we'd be able to fight each-other air pirate style.
