I love the idea of Vehicles transforming into a mbile base or something so of course I was embraced by the idea of the Sunderer as a whole..
My idea goes along the line of the mobile spawn beacon, but at the same time completely different.. I think you should be able to put your certs into either the mobile spawn beacon with two turrets on top as is orrrrrr..... A Sunderer with the two turrets on either side (jutting out of the sides like a bunker), only enough room for 3-4 players, and when deployed a massive, directional (like 90 degrees of aiming), cannon comes out of the top.. ready to assault a defense tower or defend from oncoming armor from a distance. Something like the c150 but bigger, or a miniature version of the anti-air, anti-armor turret in the concept art and in tech plants.. This thread would go with this thread: http://www.planetside-universe.com/s...ad.php?t=50168 It would eliminate the need for a new vehicle and keep the game fast-paced. I think the Sunder is going to become somewhat the support workhorse of PS2. There is so much you can do with a big boxy vehicle like that, same goes for the Galaxy, its a great idea for something that can provide a defensive bonus. And god knows we need more incentive for territory defense in this game.

I think this would be the only way to set up true anti-air support on the field.. The skyguard lightnings suck. But if a true anti-air weapon came from a a large "turret" on the sunderer, it'd make defending AND field operations more evenly balanced and team oriented
