Seems like we're not really seeing the depth of customization that I thought we'd be able to do.

The offerings seem to be really minor variations on each empires theme without really getting too far away from the standard look.

Cust-oh-my-zah-shun was promised way back but it never really came through. I was hoping to be able to have enough possible combinations that you could kit yourself out to have a unique look, either personally or as an outfit "uniform".

As it stands that's not really possible.

As a general disclaimer, I don't have performance issues, I don't have trouble running the game, I don't get a whole lot of ctd's. The people who would be tasked with doing this are not the people who are responsible for other key game systems, so the argument about limited resources at SOE doesn't seem applicable, et cetera.

Hopefully it comes in the new year, i am all for new shiny things.
However, deeper meta and some general capture mechanic tweaking comes first in my eyes. Also a 4th continent so we can get rid of this fucking factions sitting on their own continent.

Yep, some of this. Not to say that customization isn't a real issue, more shiny is good shiny IMO. I too, am still waiting for outfit camos and whatnot. Also, is it just me or are there no zebra camos?

For the cosmetics, I believe this to be a marketing strategy. Offer some customizations now, throw a few discount weekends and special offers until more buy them, then add more into the shop later. Rinse and repeat.

personally, I'd love to see some of the Rexo suits that T.Ray promised. hopefully early next year

My question is, since there are four versions of them...

I'm assuming that they're just going to make the BR25 versions? I mean, who would choose the "lesser" versions :P? Only the NC has a notable difference between BR14 and 25 to warrant two different designs

I finally want helmets that look good. What we have right now... I don't know, all the helmets just suck. I want helmets I see in the commercials and shit, I know that they are there but we can't buy them and that sucks. I don't want a fucking skull.

I want it too, but it seems that will only come with the Rexo update

it also surprises me that they'd advertise that one particular soldier all over and not even put him in the game, he's even on a wallpaper

Hate to burst your bubbles, guys, but have you looked at the composite helmets for NC heavy and Engineer. Yeah, that's the helmet from the movie; so....yeah....it's in the game.

This one is NOT in the game yet. Btw, have you guys seen the new ridiculous bike helmets (apex)? Man, they are ugly and cost 750 SC

That looks like the engineer and medic composite helmets. While I will admit they're not exactly the same, they aren't terrible and they are a hell of a lot better than the default helmets that make you look like agent smith in a helmet.

I prefer the helmet in the ads, as it reminds me of the Rexo armour, but yeah anything is better than an open face
