Increases the time it takes to lock-on to the vehicle by 0.25 seconds and prevents the vehicle from automatically appearing to hostiles based on proximity or radar detection.

Does this mean you vehicle only shows up (on the minimap)

a) to all nearby enemies when one of them has line of sight on you?
b) to all nearby enemies when one of them is actually looking at you?
c) only to the enemies who are actually looking at you (or have line of sight)?

Two of the conditions needed for you to appear on the minimap are for someone to Q you (I believe), or for you to fire a weapon. I'm not sure about general line of sight or proximity to enemies.
