Quite personally I think it's an amazing weapon. Throw on a silencer, a 3.4 red dot scope and a laser dot and you have yourself a deadly weapon. I ran around on Esamir for like an hour with a friend just cloaking and ganking hapless NC. It kills ANY sort of infantry with a single clip or less, given you don't miss much. I don't.
But what do you guys think about the SOAS-20 and automatic scout rifles in general? Fire away. |

I've had a lot of fun with the Stalker, and the weapons stats sheets seem to indicate that all 3 weapons (the SOAS-20, the Stalker, and the Artemis) have identical statistics (exception being the Artemis doesn't have any bullet drop which is not really important for this type of gun).
Kind of feels like the old days when infiling with an AMP. |

i've played with the VS version, and I quite like it.
Although it could use a 5 bullet addition to each mag. Not really necessary, as everyone seems to forget that infiltrators are supposed to be sneaky, and avoid straight up fights. Also, the low ammo carried count can be fixed by hacking a terminal |

Overall I really like the mechanics of the guns. I've died to more Infies with scout rifles (or the occasional brave skirmisher with a bolt-action ) then actual snipers. It's pretty fun to see the weird ways we find to use these things. |
