And i'm wondering why people are talking about the "best" snipers when all sniper rifles are exactly the same, but I shouldn't be questioning why whiners whine.

Default sniper rifles are not. Not to mention VS have no bulletdrop, that is already a difference.

Only semi autos don't have bullet drop, in exchange they get harsher damage degredation. Other than that they are exactly the same and the stats on all of the weapons are exactly the same.

Don't worry about apparently TR is the best "Mid-range sniper" despite their weapons being exactly the same as NC. NC is the best "long range sniper" despite their weapons being exactly the same as everyone. Good to know thanks.

Wait, people actually use tanks to kill other tanks? I'm preeeeeetttty sure tanks are just for shooting at spawn buildings.

So you guys are suggesting the empire specific MAXs actually impact Empire balance?


Im all for getting better MAX balance - but really does it matter that much? Other than farming spawns and doors in Bilo Labs they are a small part of everything on every side.

And for that matter - sniper rifles? All the bolt actions work well. And its not like they are used one on one so any millisecond differnces in TTK dont matter much like they do with LMGs and rifles.

Long range VS snipers are at a disadvantage but where most sniping happens the damage drop off means diddly.

Also

TR and VS infantry wise are as hard as eachother, the NC however are only marginally harder you just have to fight the temptation to go full COD and hold down m1.

TR and NC, hands down, have the best infantry weapons, vehicles, and aircraft. They're both insanely OP and their infantry have more health, too! However, the VS manage to hold most of the territory despite pop usually being in the low teens, on every server, due to our far superior skill and teamwork.
