Re: Leaked translation file screenshot

Hmm i play NC and imho balancing isnt the biggest problem with PS2. [though admittedly we always have least amount of players on server]

First thing we need imo is to make some adjustments so that attacking and defending bases would be equally as effective and revarding for both sides.

The Prowler is actually not that bad compared to the Vanguard, farming infantry is a huge plus in this game (unfortunately) while the Vanguard is more balanced in its AI & AT roles. Of course the Mag is on top.

Vanu do have the most flexible stock tank, but I would argue the Vanguard, with its god damn shield with two equally skilled combatants that vanguard will win 9 times out of 10.

Seriously NC it isnt that hard to press F and point the front of your tank at the Magrider.

4 seconds of null damage, as opposed to the ability to run away and the ability to stop moving

No ones whining. I just want to see what people think. How would you list it?

Im all for getting better MAX balance - but really does it matter that much? Other than farming spawns and doors in Bilo Labs they are a small part of everything on every side.

And for that matter - sniper rifles? All the bolt actions work well. And its not like they are used one on one so any millisecond differnces in TTK dont matter much like they do with LMGs and rifles.
We are just comparing equipment not an overall balance critique. Well I'm not

Vanu can flank or get behind without showing their own sides. Others can't. That's an advantage assuming Vanu also have thicker front armor on their MBT.

Mag has no additional armour and a vangaurd can rotate its base faster then a lvl 3 combat chasis mag can strafe it. To actually get behind a vangaurd who is switched on, a mag has to magburn exposing his flank, by the time the mag is behind the vangaurd he has time to get one shot off before that tasty tasty tasty rear has turned away, and its just flank for days until the magburn recharges.

Hahaha, this is so true.

Mags the only tank that can do hit and run tactics. Vanguard is toast in seconds if u overextend from the zerg. It moves so slow that once certain damage treshold has been reached, you're dead. Mag can allways strafe around erratically to avoid shots. It's not drastically weaker than vannie either.

Vannie shield is not something you want to trust on to save you, once it's used it's disactivated for a long time. And it doesn't block damage over certain treshold so if u have like 3-4 guys rocketing you, you're dead even with the shield on. It only lasts few seconds too. It might save you 1vs1 against a tank at close range though, but if a mag or prowler comes that close they're crazy.

Yep... the mag was OP in Beta but they pulled it down. What tank is best is more of a situational question I'd say. Head to head, the prowler and the Vanny takes us down. However, the Mag is hands down the most fun tank.
