Couldn't find anything on this;
When you spawn at one of the facilities listed under the new "Reinforcements needed" Tab on the spawn-screen, what exactly happens? Is there any xp bonus, or a faster spawn time? Because i didn't notice anything besides, well, being able to spawn at that location regardless of my own position. Generally i think a second spawn-tab for "defensive spawning" is a great idea (even though like with all activity-detection you might end up spawning at a really stupid location instead of the one that would make the most sense to defend). However, without any "motivation" to use it, this will not really make your average joe defend something. |

I guess you can see to what suggestion that will lead eh? Would imo be a good idea to give these defensive spawns some small benefit, like shorter spawn time or a small +xp%. I mean, they are "reinforcements" and all that. I really like that feature though, i just think it could use some tweaking. Because currently chances are you just end up being fed to some zerg. The perfect ideal spawning solution for distributing "casuals" and "solo players" would be this anyways: One big "offense" and one big "defense" button at the spawn screen and the game does the rest (in a more sophisticated way than the current spawn "suggestions"). |
