I understand wanting to port to Linux... a bit...
But why Mac? Just use bootcamp. FPS and Mac don't get along... like at all.

I wouldn't say that's true - anything that has a native port on a Mac tends to run extremely well. Generally, that means Valve titles. Even my Air can run TF2 competently, and it's not exactly a Maserati.

Too soon?

They run ok, but there are other issues. Like inherent mouse acceleration that even with a 3rd party app doesn't seem to go away 100%. I also feel like I have just a touch of mouse lag.

I've played a few games on my laptop, through OSx and Windows boot, like CS and L4D and mostly it has to do with aiming and mouse response. They run smooth enough and sometimes the game actually runs better/ smoother more FPS on the OSx but... I'm bad enough aiming already I don't need any kind of handicap.

Bootcamp.

Not new just easier, or different method for mac. Linux is the bigger highlight.

I had no knowledge of Bootcamp. If PS2 works better on bootcamp, awesome. But this is the way for linux users. I will be sure to edit about boot camp.

Bootcamp is just a way to partition a mac HD to boot in windows or OSx.
Not actually playing "through" bootcamp, you just have a windows PC on the Mac.

I might check out your DL for Mac though and help give some feedback and bug reports. I'm interested to see how it runs.

I would highly appreciate it. I can not test the mac version myself since i am a linux user but the PlayOn Team said the script would work.
