The anti-tank mines seem to be pretty ridiculous in terms of how quickly you can put them down and the sheer amount of damage they do.
I hear a lot about scat maxes but then again I'm never on the receiving end so I can't say for sure . I really think that we need SOE to give us data, data, data so that we can graph up our own comparisons. It's tiring for everyone to argue over what's OP/UP when nobody has any REAL proof! |

People whining about all this are extremely over-powered. No matter which PS2 forum you go, it's always dominated by people whining about nerf this and nerf that.
The funny thing is, there's a general lack of consensus about what needs to be nerfed which is for a me an indicator that this game is not so badly balanced as people make it to believe. Even on subjects like Scatter Maxes people differ in opinion a lot. Besides the HE on the Prowler (which get's nerved anyway) I don't see much consensus tbh. Personally, there's not much in this game that annoys me to a level to start whining about nerfing. The working of AT mines comes to mind and being taken out in a tank by a single volley of rocket pods, but I guess even that is debatable. In general, I think that the decision to combine the characteristics of a helicopter and jet in a single (ESF) vehicle is causing lots of balancing problems so far but I guess we have to live with that.
