Like Camy said, turrets do not auto-repair. It is not uncommon for a saboteur to sneak behind enemy lines and demolish all the turrets, generators, SCU, etc. of an unmanned base or outpost. It might be useful for a BRAVE ENGINEER to fly an ESF or something over there and repair everything from time to time.

For great (albeit usually uneventful) exp!

Though occasionally you may get there before the saboteur has departed, in which case you may find yourself sparring with an infiltrator.
