Yea cyssor was my fav cont too back in the days
I just hope we get some nice creative continents with different elements in the future like cyssor's big rivers.. Unfortunately so far, with the current engine, it just doesnt seem that they can make such characteristic conts I hope they can but so far doesnt seem that way |

They should have done that will the others. The layouts from PS1 were fine. I know they wanted squares to optimize play area but once you have an intercontinental lattice, none of that matters. Eventually they should go back and add stuff to the current ones to "de-square" them.

well let's just say if they don't make Cyssor now like the original it shall be dubbed Eyssor
A little nostalgia can do this game the world of good, I agree with EP of all the conts adding in Cyssor would make the most sense given it's strategic design, you can really add in some very nice features, make Gunuku dropship centre would make a great capital base again but I do like the devious idea of a Mount Cyssor base, maybe something akin to a big infantry battle zone inside the Mountain. (Not core combat style)

Though I absolutely love this game, this is one of the few things that bother me about right now. Despite the bigger battles that PS2 totes, the continents seem smaller than a lot of the maps in PS1. Then again in PS1 you had to travel from WG to WG to get to a particular continent if you didn't take the HART or have a connected broadcast WG. But then again, that could be just me or just the size that they prefer to have the current continents as, maybe they'll expand over time. |

Also, i would be more than happy to see Cyssor as it was back then in PS1. Someone, call Higby, and tell him what we want xD |

Right between Tore and Leza, there were some epic fights, vanu MBT could cross the water, but the NC and TR would rip us to chunks, from the other side, some times the best way to get across the water was a gal drop, EMP blast when you hit the roof of the tower, hack the top door, and fight your way down to the tower capture point. Man Those were the days. Cough... Cough... Yep those were some epic battles sonny, damn I feel old as hell when I think of the hours we spend fighting over those bridges. Dont get me wrong though there are some epic battles in PS2 as well , I mean look at the crown, really epic.

On that note one of my first experiences in PS1 was stupid IA somehow dropped me onto cyssor that was nearly dead all the way down in Leza tower. We flipped it, then I notice a hack on Ekera appear. Being brand new all I had was a harasser and no way to communicate the issue. I drove all the way from Leza to Ekera... It took forver. The hack got cleared but the hotspots stayed right up until I got there and there was no one left at the base, no friendlies no enemies. I then got blown up by mines while I drove away from the base. Cyssor of the past couple years definitely does not have the same happy nostalgia that it did prior BFR bridge battles were NOT glorious. |
