Question LA adrenaline pump

Does adrenaline pump help with flying speed or just sprint speed?

Both, because you get more speed before flying and so you can go farther.
Very useful with that glider jet-pack.
Also I just discovery you cam use the glider jet-pack to go up, you just need to strate into a wall using it to go up.
Also useful with the standard jet-pack, but not I really miss my nanoweaver bonus while using it.

What really bothers me about this is that there's no reason to get any other suit modifications because this is what makes Light Assault good.

They should just give it to all light assaults so there's actually a reason to choose some other suit modification.

I've never really had the impression that Adrenaline Pump was actually much good, at least in terms of boosting your combat effectiveness, but I do find it fun to run slightly faster.

Perhaps they'll buff it when they get around to doing the LA pass? That would make me happy

I'd rather see it become part of the class TBH. i.e LAs sprint 10% faster (which is what it does)

I'd like to see each class have an innate ability like this (just the same I'd like to see a basic magburner, shield and deploy become a default part of the MBTs)

Nor do I. To be frank, a little extra speed just doesn't seem as enticing as being able to carry three flash generades instead of one. I am super annoying as LA now.

I kind of agree actually, but what abilities would you give to all the other classes?

Also, by this logic, should ESFs (and any future ES vehicles) have some kind of built-in special? And couldn't you end up with two different vehicle abilities mapped to the same key?

Do any of the other classes need new abilities?
Medic - healing/revive others as well as AOE heal that does self. - Fine
Engineer - Repair/rearm others as well as tons of fun toys. - Fine
Infil - Can cloak, use AP mines and hack terminals. - Fine
HA - Can potentially soak up more damage than any other class with their shield activated. - Potential to get something else but iffy.
MAX - Once certed they are beast machines already & Getting new abilities soon(when they sort out that lunatic VS ZOE idea ) - Fine
LA - We fly and attack from unexpected places and can use C4 mid air. - Potential to get something else but like HA iffy.

Tho it's a nice idea to give the LA a movement buff 10% more movement speed overall is pretty big not sure it's needed either.
5% might be palatable overall (I play LA more than any other class btw)
The only other one who could deserve a buff is HA, it's a hard act to balance.
5% explosive damage resistence due to Heavier armour, though that probably is to much, maybe even just a 1% or 2% to flame dmg or kinetic dmg (nothing drastic is the idea).

Yeah, it's a slippery slope for sure.

I do like the idea of LA's always running faster though - just because it makes them actually *feel* different, right away. TBH that's really the only reason I run Adrenaline Pump, just for that fun, distinctive feel it adds.

I guess in theory it'd be nice if we could come up with similar low-impact passive changes to all the classes to give them a more distinctive feel. Not sure it's practical though.

doh forgot to mention the HA ability to carry rocket launcers/AV weapons that are really great too in most situations That could just override the idea of them getting a buff. Big guns are nasty

i'd say it really isn't that expensive as a early thing to grab but flak armor 2 is only 11 certs and allows you to survive an AP mine.

I agree it should be standard and not part of the suit options.

That said I often use the expanded ammo slots instead - its no fun running out of ammo when you are alone.
