Since the new Planetside announcement, this PS1-driven community got severely split up in forum battles about the direction of PS2. My reasoning behind it has always been that I predicted this game to be deliberately released as a BF3 game on crack only to become a PS1 game on steroids over time. (For some reason, that original PSU topic actually became a popular read on Mittani.com.)
Now I didn't create this topic to collect my prophet bonus (Screw me, I just happen to wrote up what we all could see coming), but after seeing this picture I can now officially love people like Figment for their very critical but always constructive PS1-driven feedback :-)  Bitter PS1 vets and clueless PS2 fan boys like me in the end share the same love and that love is getting more universal after each update :-) Last edited by Rolfski; 2013-05-12 at 06:29 PM. |

Vets and fanboys will never be friends, once lattice is put in the vets will demand something else and the fanboys will fight it tooth and nail to the bitter end, such is the way of the reboot.

As much fun as it would be for PS1 vets and PS2 fanboys to live in harmony... Wait, that wouldn't be fun. That would be horribly, horribly boring.
 In fealty to Planetside Universe (our undying home) and by the Grace of the Golden Hammer, I declare this thread closed on the grounds of promoting peace... And because I don't see much constructive coming out of it
