I'll keep this one short as I'm at work on my iPhone, will make a longer one later.
This is my main one.
Quality of life:

Minimap - this is a big pet hate for me it needs to be sorted out to spare my poor nerves

1: Scaling and zooming - There is so much clutter around bases/facilities/outposts/towers during fights it can be impossible to see what's going on, you need to be able to zoom in at will so you can see or find that enemy dots hiding in the sea of blue (or whatever colour you use).

2: pressing H to make the minimal bigger - why doesn't the rest of the UI scale with it,

Compass
Faction influence of the area

I would love to see this sorted out.

FPS and latency lag issues need to be fixed. Granted, I play on a laptop, but a lot of my fellow gamers play on top-of-the-line gaming rigs and are constantly upgrading them. Not only do I have the latency lag and random fps isues, but they do as well. I will explain in greater detail later.


Edit: I used to be able to play on full-on High Graphics Settings right after GU01 and GU02 at right around 50-60 FPS. After GU03, my FPS dropped all the way down to 5 FPS. WTF?!? And now I have to play on "Very Low" settings in order to get even 15-30 fps. and that's just driving around randomly! I get the same in big fights, but still, I miss my old High Graphics settings...

  • Weapon tool tips (ie. velocity/RPM on Raven/Falcon is wrong) Fix the tool tip or fix the weapons to match the tool tips.

  • Input lag on cloak when spawning, pushing the button and nothing happens or pushing the button and not cloaking but timer starts.

  • Random drop outs when hacking using E key suddenly stops hacking so I press the key again and its lol lol you were hacking thx.

  • Make Charlie Squad not purple.

  • Allow the IFF indicator for friendly Tank Mines show up sooner.

  • When you deploy GU's, Patches or Hotfixes could you have a tech monitoring Briggs so it doesn't take six hours longer than the other servers to come back on line please.

  • Recon Darts, make them work 100% of the time, I maxed out the certs so I could get at least one working per load out.

What a great list of ideas



Speaking for Sundy drivers everywhere;
  • Allow us to lock the Gun seats to Squad/Platoon and leave passenger seats open to anyone
  • Echoing what Halon/DirtyBird said above: Allow us to change our vehicle loadout at ammo towers. Hate having to abandon my Sundy just to change guns
  • Allow us to deconstruct vehicles at the ammo tower for a full resource refund
  • Give more XP for people spawning on Sunderer
  • Give XP for transporting troops around. If people jump in, the Sundy moves and they jump out, the driver should get XP
  • Give more XP for deploy kills
  • If there are free seats in a deployed Sundy allow people to spawn inside, where they aren't being lolpodded! So depressing watching people spawn at your Sundy and die before they can react or man the AA guns
  • Again like Halon suggest. Utility/Defense slots need re-organising. I suggest
    Utility:
    • Gate Shield Diffuser
    • S-AMS
    • Smoke Screen >> Move to Defense
    • Proximity Radar
    • Fire Suppression >> Move to Defense
      Defense:
    • Nanite Auto Repair >> Merge with Nanite Proximity Repair
    • Vehicle Ammo Dispenser >> Move to Utility + self resupply the Sundy its on
    • Nanite Proximity Repair >> Move to Utility
    • Vehicle Stealth
    • Blockade Armor
    • Mine Guard
  • In a recent patch the G40-F Ranger had the Cone of Fire increased to 1.25. Reduce this back to 1. You can't hit a ESF/Dalton lib attacking you from range while hovering.


Battle Flow
  • Remove Redeploy and change it to Recall to Warpgate. People are quickly realizing they don't need to travel as they can redeploy to the next fight instead. I miss big tank battles
  • Reduce the number of spawn points to;
    • Nearest Tower/Outpost
    • Nearest Main Facility
    • Nearest S-AMS
    • Warpgate
    • Squad Beacon
    I want some logic to the action instead of the battle being scattered in every direction.

Boo! Hiss! Lone-wolf players (or players who like to play with just a few RL friends) already struggle to compete with organised squads and outfits - buffing outfits even more isn't needed.

well, making the cert prices more fair would be nice. 1000 certs for something that does only 5% more protection in the last upgrade for something is stupid. same as C4's, why don't you make it 250 each instead of 250 and then 500? makes no sense. 250 is quite allot to work up to as a F2P.

optimise the game more for better performance.

a way to change vehicle loadouts.

0 second respawn timer to get to warpgate, also 0 second respawn timer in VR

flickering bug

desync issues

that bug where when a sythe shoots you, your screen fucks up like as if it has a moon on it with holes or something

maybe a resource cost for rockets to reduce spam- makes 0 sense to be able to throw grenades and C4 etc that have resource cost yet rockets don't.

make MTB's be like the harrasser. you know how much cooler the harasser is. also, people already have a one man tank, it is called a lighting!

balance NS weapons, shotguns, and SMGs. the new NS pistols are ridiculous, it takes about 3 shots to kill someone! and as for shotguns. BC2 did it right.

ATV's- when a flash flips over, it should not slowly die. that is fucking stupid. it is an ATV- have a button to flip the ATV over, just like Halo. also on the subject on ATV's, the grip is absolutely appalling. i have ridden motor bikes and ATV's half the size of the flashes IRL, and the flash, a MILITARY GRADE VEHICLE FROM THE FUTURE can't get over a hill that a kiddie ATV can get over easily IRL? SRSLY?!

MOAR FACTION-SPECIFIC VEHICLES. ES flash. ES lightinings. ES galaxies, libirators, harrassors. it will give the game much more variety and different use of tactics.

THE ABILITY TO PICK UP C4 AGAIN AFTER YOU DROP THEM. do you have any idea how annoying that is? i am F2P, so resource points; infantry resource points specifically- are very precious to me. i play as an LA w/ c4, and having to detonate a C4 because i can't pick it up after i missed a shot etc is heart breaking. 90 resource points, down the drain.

more voice macros and voice actors

the ability to have at least SOME sort of free horn. it can be anything, like a puny meow for what i care.

delays when switching seats and getting into vehicles- when switching seats, maybe have the screen go black for a second. also, when getting in vehicles have it so your character stands there for like 3-5 seconds. it just reduces pussies hiding in their tanks after being sprung repairing it by a soldier.

add points for successfully defending bases

automated turrets
more points for capturing control points, espesially at satalite bases- only 30 points for standing there for 3 minutes?! change that to 150 and i'll be happy



FIX THE SPAWN CAMPING ISSUE AFTER DOMINATING A BASE- ADD THAT THING WHERE THE SHIELDS ON THE SPAWN ROOM GO DOWN THING NAOW!
add the lattice plex


add con't lock as well plex

Adding new vehicles is a big job, so doesn't really qualify as a quick-fix QoL issue - but that said I would *love* to see more NS vehicles get ES weapon options once the Harasser has them.

Sundy with PPAs maybe? Some kind of new plasma gun turret for the Lightning?

(although you might want to buff the PPA while you're at it... don't see many people using it these days...)

ES cosmetic items for NS vehicles would also be cool, or ES side-grades that alter their appearance a little (along the lines of current armour upgrades)?

Bugs:
Fix region chat!
HS/NV scope inconsistencies

Quality of Life:

Make squads/outfits more important. This game doesn't require organization, it doesn't promote organization, and to be honest from a progression standpoint grouping with other players hinders you. I'm not saying increase the rewards for playing in a squad/platoon, but give them more purpose by making it near impossible to do things solo. The game would be a massive change in quality of play IMO by making spawning at Sunderers platoon/outfit only and give Galaxy's AMS by squad only. As someone who spent 99.9% of his playtime solo/duo, please make the game more concentric around the outfit/squad/platoon.

Increase XP for Pilots in all non-solo vehicles, decrease XP for Liberator cannon turret and MBT main turret kills.

More preset voice commands. Tribes: Ascend did them wonderfully, having too many doesn't hurt anything.


**NUMBER ONE QUALITY OF LIFE ISSUE**
Fix the damn population issues for low populated factions on servers. Increased XP percentage is clearly a failed incentive to get people to play on a low populated faction. It's incredibly unfair and not balanced to be so horribly outnumbered every day on Waterson as VS, for once give the ridiculously underpopulated factions an advantage over the ridiculously overpopulated factions. Other games have done this in the past and it works. It may suck that your faction is so overly populated that you get put at a disadvantage(In terms of damage/HP/armor/fire rate/resources/move speed), but welcome to the life of playing as the underpopulated faction, who gets to play on one continent a day with relatively even numbers, for the past 6 months. SIX MONTHS HIGBY! Stop pushing us aside!

Some awesome ideas in this thread!

One thing I would like to see is to be able to independently control the colors of the HUD and MAP. I want my HUD icons to be red for enemy held points and blue for my own. The ability to customize the map is nice but I'd never change that vs my HUD icons.

A way to keep track of sqaudmates in aircraft would be nice.

Perhaps be able to mark thme so that they are in brackets when in ine of sight and have arrows with their number on the sides of the screen when thwey are not. Maybe add something similar for tracking spoted enemy aircraft.

Perhaps link enemy tracking to the ESF scout radars and have it also transmit to nearby platoon mates.
