Pump-Action Shotguns and CoF

I've seen several videos of people using the pump-action shotguns, and in every video I have noticed their CoF never changes. They can be running jumping, flying, sprinting shooting, it doesn't matter, their CoF remains static, and at the tightest position it can be.

I've tried using the latest pump action but I find it rather lackluster since the CoF prevents it from killing anything beyond absolute point blank, forget using it while flying when its CoF is the size of my screen.

I've looked through every cert, every attachment for the shotguns, I've played with them in VR, I've looked through every cert for light assault and I can't seem to figure out what's going on here.

Am I missing something or is this just some graphical bug with PS2's video capture?

It could have been video taken prior to the update that changed it. It used to be static like you described, but now it will show a higher spread the more you move.

It was altered in an update. Before the CoF was the same as now, but the circle never changed.

What i don't understand is how moving makes pellets exit a barrel in a wider pattern.....

Surely the pellet spread should always be the same but the centre of the pellets should be random in the CoF?

I know this is a lame counter statement... but...video games aren't like real life. If the game worked more like how we would expect it to if it were real then a lot of things would be different.

oh i know but it just doesn't make sense, it's also kind of counter intuitive, CoF bloom makes you miss more, you get punished far more for missing with a shotgun, random pellet placement in the coF would be far more efficient at ruining dps than pellet spread.

It's to simulate that it's harder to aim the more you move your body.

yes which means the area hit by the pellets should move in a CoF, not the spread of the pellets, the barrel points in a different position if you run, it doesn't suddenly turn into a blunderbuss...
