I don't see the game changes that you mention with regards to the Striker as being anything but bug fixes.
I agree about your ESF suggestion, because they mirror my own posted thoughts and ideas on the matter.
Not sure about the Liberator, because I personally would want it to be a bomber instead of a gunship. (Especially if the possibility of a galaxy gunship being added into the game)
I agree with about the bursters and the Lightning. Bursters should be short ranged killers, medium ranged deterrents and highly ineffective at longer ranges. It makes no sense to have something that can be that effective at ranges where the enemy can't actually see it (The old render issue)
Skyguards should be what you pull to protect an area from arial attacks. Killer at close/ medium range and a deterrent at the longer ranges. (While also taking into account an increase of the flight ceiling, which I also agree with)
Also, if you were Higby for a day... Would you automatically grow his hair? You know, a Captain Marvel kinda thing. The one who gains his powers dons his hair piece!
