I would like to know if Auraxis spins on its axis?.... this in turn would bring on the question.... is there a sun? if so how many? but what i am really getting at is..... If planetside has these features then does the planet on one side have light and the other none? Like earth that is half light and half dark. I ask this because having a whole planet the brightens for given hours and then becomes completely dark later doesnt seem real. Thanks if you can help.

There will be day and night cycles, and weather patterns for that matter, but few details have been released about them. It is unclear whether all continents will go to darkness at the same time.
Sure would be pretty to watch the terminator approaching from a drop pod though... |

Well ofcoarse they can't have the entire planet as one large object, much less have it moving becuase that would well, cuase SHITLOADS upon SHITLOADS of lag. So what they probably are doing is have each continent be it's own individual "zone" and have them go through different cycles of day and night relative to there location.

Since there is a day/night cycle, the planet has to rotate.
Since people can walk around without fully enclosed enviornmental suits, there has to be a sun...that there are 2 suns, I didn't know, but there does seem to be 2 moons. If their orbit had them on the night side more or less constantly, and they were larger and/or closer than Earth's moon, they could reflect enough sunlight to account for the lack of total darkness at night. |

yes these may seem so ... but there are flaws. If there are two suns... then it is immpossible to have night, unless the sun turns off and on... which is too fake.
The only way this planet could be only light and then later be all dark... is simple yet confusing. For this idea to work there must be two moons. The two suns stand alone on opposite sides of the planet. This in turn brings light to all of the planet. Now for night..... Auraxis's moons which also are on exact opposite sides from each other, Pass in front of the suns. thus ending the light in an eclipes. This is bogus! Its impossible. I seriously think the game developers should have though more about this. Plus i could also bring up the artic continent that seems to sit strangly away from the poles in the screens ive seen. I know there is some way of explaining these... but if i cant figure them out yet maybe you guys can. |

Yep, from what I've compiled about Araxus from various sources, it was originally a rogue planet that drifted between twin suns with various gravitational anamolies going on, one of which being the wormhole. It's also the reason for the twilight night cycle.

I will say this now, the continents are small if ya put a human in there. I mean the biggest they get to is like possibly Arizona. Why do I state this? Because if it was a big continent like Europe and Asia, then it would take a week or so to get to one side of the continent to another (if you were in a vehicle). Now I haven't seen tanks run all about or buggies, but I'm guessin they're as if it was a highway.
Now bring in weather and sun/night time. 13 landmasses, all ranging to atleast the size of Arizona, we got the United States of America here. And we all know the sun/day time is 3 hours apart (if ya know what I mean). Unless the continent picture is like a world map, showing everything on a globe but on a flat piece of paper. Then I dunno....it better be as realistic as it can possibly be. Oh, how long is day/night? will day be in the day and will night be in the night? Or is it like 1-2 hour periods? oh, and how fast do the clouds move? How fast does the Planet's spin move??
