I recall not so long ago that when spotting a target you'd get a health bar below their name. This applied to both vehicles and infantry.
After some patch/hotfix/game update this has changed, I'm curious - when did this happen, and why? The health meters now show at point blank ranges only. I agree that, in theory, this promotes more skill based playing as you have to look for smoke/fire on vehicles to estimate their armor levels, but it's currently kinda bugged (I sometimes fire 5-10 Hailstorm bullets onto a Mossie that's seemingly undamaged and destroy it), or maybe this bug only happens to me? |

Yeah, been added fairly recently to stop you from accurately seeing which enemies are hurt, and how much, and at insane ranges too. Feature not bug, happens to everyone.
Speculation says it'll come back as an implant, maybe. EDIT: Ninja'd. |

You might say "it's been removed so they can make us pay dosh to get it back," but the reality is that implants (if handled correctly) are a good thing because they provide specialization and opportunity cost, which PS2 desperately needs (Rotary/Pods, LMG/RL, etc.)
