Question A twist on battle rifles?

I'm disappointed in how the battle rifles are all the same (except for the VS having no bullet drop)

I think it would be beneficial to the game to have a faction twist to each rifle

The TR could have a larger magazine (25-30 rounds) and a higher fire rate cap.

The NC could have a max damage of 300 making it a 3 hit kill against infiltrators and a 4 hit kill against Nano weave armor

The VS Could have a much farther range ,a faster reload and a higher bullet velocity to go with having no bullet drop

And Battle rifles should get a bullet velocity increase across the board.
they are supposed to be longer range weapons and they need bullet velocity to do that.

If anything, I want these BR's to stop sucking. Their TTK is way too low on ranges where they are supposed to shine.

I agree that we need more uniqueness for each of the factions !!!!

For example VS should really have a faster bullet velocity since they are energy weapons and not physical projectiles..

I really like my Eidolon, and generally do pretty well with it when I get it out, but I wouldn't say no to a small buff. If nothing else it could do with being a little stronger in its primary role, just to compensate for how specialised it is.

More variety between the faction weapons would be nice too - seems strange to me that ARs, carbines, etc. vary between factions but BRs are a cut-and-paste job.

I think the current Battle Rifles are just fine. They are the best weapons for killing distant moving targets. What I would like to see is more Battle Rifles. I would like one able to equip an underbarrel grenade launcher, or even shotgun, with some downside to it. I would also love more empire specific battle rifles. Great idea.

I dont know, maybe its my hit registration but I cant hit a thing with the BR (amp-66). I put on HV ammo even and unless they are standing its very hard to hit with. Even when you do, at range it takes too many to do much good, especially if they are fully certed into nano. I put on HV, foregrip, compensator, and 2x scope.

The BR is the one weapon I wish I never put any certs into. Complete waste.
