i was reading "Happy puppy's" little review of PS just now and it says:
There will be different weather patterns including lighting storms and a few small tornadoes as well. There will not be a day and night cycle, but certain parts of the planet will always be in darkness, great for a super-secret stealth mission. whats with that? i thought there was going to be day and night. |

That happy puppy article is mad old from 05/22/2001, I didnt even know it existed. There are definatly day/night cycles as confirmed in our recent interview. As for weather, they havent said much about it as of late, probably trying to implement it still.
Here is a link to that article: http://www.happypuppy.com/win/previe...2Dwin%2D1.html Remember, its ancient |

Heh, you got to admit, weather could be pretty funny sometimes. I can see myself with my combat knife, watching as 20 tanks roll over the hill, with my platoon off trying to take out another base. I run over to them, gung-ho with my knife, and they point the barrel at my head. When I hear the boom, I wonder how I'm still alive - then it turns out that one got struck by lightning, and they all exploded. Hooray!
Anyway, I think tornados and lightning could be a little stupid... but rain and snow could make things strategically interesting. |
