as fas as that post goes its old news and inacurate.

all we want is clear conformation about the beta will we get in or do we have to wait for the full game. but no one from soe has said sod all as it would be to simple to tell us poor dimwits who have followed the game for the past 2 years and pour countless hours in to free advertisment for them.

so come on sony cough up or forever be know as EA

SOE has accepted Euro and overseas folks into beta.

The CONTEST ALONE requires you to be a U.S. resident.

Most likely because those were special contests. That doesn't mean that SOE won't send them to European addresses themselves.

That news is less than a week old.

Hmm dubious. Whilst I dont doubt that Euro players are in the exclusive beta and have downloaded the client it really doesnt make sense for them to inform MMPORG -

'Sorry RALL - SOE just notified me today that ony US and Canada can enter their beta program. This is why the poor soul from the UK had to be disqualified.'

and that was 1 guy out of 525 competition places. If they had implemented European Open Beta spots how hard would it have been to include one more guy?

More likely there are no open beta spots for anyone outside US/Canada/Mexico. The recently updated FAQ by Spork still states -

'International fans, it is likely that we will be admitting a number of you into the test as well, so don't close your email just yet.'

and has stated that for a while now with no change - which means they may have some intention to do so in the future, but not yet. Ah well, wish theyd come out with it.
