Shuttle AK32 - Athlon XP question

Hey folks,

At the moment I've got an AK32 motherboard with an XP+ 1700 chip, I'd like to upgrade but I can't find any info on the maximum recommended chip for my motherbord. I don't wanna go getting the XP+ 2400 and find out later I'll have to get a ne motherboard to.

If anybody knows anything about this I'd but greatful for advice.

Cheers,
Richie aka Shodan

It can support a chip up to 1.5ghz...

the 1700 runs close to that (1.47 or so).

You'll have to get new mobo, you're at the limit of what it can handle whit CPU's.
