Router and 2 players at once?

Hi guys!
I wonder if anyone knows if its possible to play 2 pc:s
at once via a router, i have a netgear and in other games it works just fine.
Of course i understand that i in that case must have two accounts, cos two cant play with one key.
Its nice to have a girl to play with, instead of just playing with myself
In some games its not possible but i hope it works in Planetside.
I think it will be worth the money.
