PlanetSide Convention?

Andrew "Rogue13" Risch, Artist for PlanetSide recently stopped by #ps-universe on irc.planetside-universe.com to chat with us. As we we're talking about random stuff, we came across Quakecon which just happened recently, and then we came to discussing the possibility of a PlanetSIde Convention. Here is the full IRC log.

<@rogue13> do the exact same thing, a big lan party, and some tournament areas, set up some special server just for the convention

<@PSU-Squeeky> We got 5,000 registered forum users at PSU, not to mention the PlanetSide official forums are full of potential canidates
<@PSU-Squeeky> Someone needs to light a fire under SoE's ass, i would so go
<@rogue13> yeah, but thats world wide, we need 1-2k to all come to one location.. which means travel for alot of folks

Summary: SoE has discussed the possibility of a PlanetSide Convention, rogue13 would like to see something like that happen and will run it by the appropriate folks.
