ghostn Station Member Registered: Jun 1999 posted 12-23-2002 09:46 AM user search report post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a question regarding clarificatino of where deployable turrets may be placed. rogue13ps answered a couple of questions regarding this, but two of the answers seem to condradict each other: http://boards.station.sony.com/ubb/p...ML/001008.html quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: "Are AMS the only objects that are deployable outside your sphere of influence?" Answer: "nope. you can put out small turrents and mines and motion sensors." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://boards.station.sony.com/ubb/p...ML/000945.html quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "this is also deployable turrets that you can put out anywhere outside the base and within that base's sphere of influence." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In one of the threads, it is stated that the deployable turrets must be within the sphere of influence of a base. In the other thread, the answer is that turrets (as well as mines and motion sensors) may be deployed outside the sphere of influence. Was just wondering if I can get a clarification as to which is correct. And the answer is??????????????????????? You have to protect it manually if you don't want it to be destroyed. We're not big on auto-defenses here. Too boring. It's more fun to rely on human defenders. http://boards.station.sony.com/ubb/p...ML/001022.html
