Brigadier General AztecWarrior was on Esamir. He had just gotten there, being sent there. He was checking his e-mail and he recieved a letter scolding him for not having a report sent in when it was due.
One of the symptoms of depression is random mood changes and to break out in tears unexpectedly.
He broke out in tears, surprising himself. It was a good thing that he was alone.
He had been growing sadder over the past few days, thinking about the war. He had thoughts that it was hopeless, that he alone could do nothing. From there, things got worse.
By that day, he was getting suicidal.
