I need some more girl help.

I know I said I was gone from PSU, but I have reached a roadblock in the path to getting a girlfriend, and I remembered where I always used to go for advice, PSU! Anyway, to the point. There is a girl at school named Stephanie. We are good friends, but unfortunately that is all. I was going to ask her out tomorrow, but after talking to her friend, I realized that Steph only thought of me as a friend. How do I get her to think of me as more than just a friend?
