currently there's two camps in Emerald TR CR5. there's the "active command" group (myself, ash, hedron, aztek, Jungle, MCB, etc) who want to go for the daily win. this involves moving people around to push up the base count, and hopefully have a great fight while we're at it. then there's Morphius, Frank, and a couple of others who prefer to hit Ishundar or Forseral while it's being hammered / doubleteamed, pop-lock it, and bash away over the same base or two for the next few hours. I ain't saying either strat is right, it really boils down to how you want to play it.
as for getting people to recall to home continents, it should be very (and I mean VERY) rare that you'll get a recall order when there isn't at least 50 or so people to fight on that continent. the very first thing that happens when the enemy puts hacks on is that a couple of CR5s recall instantly to scout, pull in a squad or so to secure, and if that succeeds you folks will never even know it's happened. if we find there's 20+ people hitting the base, we'll /Comsan asking for help : normally this will bring in enough people to stop the hack. if the continent opens up, and we're getting a beating, then we'll global asking (I repeat ASKING) for help. we're not expecting everyone to suddenly drop what you're doing and hart in, although that is the most effective way to stop the enemy. but at the very least, you can guarantee there'll be a good fight when you arrive.
now, personally, I find the double-team continent bash a pain in the ass, so if we have cery locked, forseral locked, and ish is getting raped I'll take folks to searhus, or solsar, anywhere but Ish. but hey, that's just my strat.
